Years ago my Mom taught me a few stitches in Crochet, I hadn't paid much attention
to it till she made a beautiful Rose Afghan for her couch. I have never seen any such on the internet that resembles anything
near it these days. I'm not even sure where she got the pattern from.. but it was made in all white squares for the
background with red [Bud] roses in the middle of each square [no leafs], done in 3-dementional.. it was beautiful. So
one day back in the 1960's. I wanted to try to duplicate the Roses, so I found my Mom's hooks and her yarn laying on the coffee
table, so, while she wasn't home I started to copy the Roses. From then on I was HOOKED. I made my bud rose
fine, and made many others since then.
From there I made tons of things from Afghans to potholders.
